AR and Billing Specialist

The Challenge

This AR and Billing Specialist will collaborate with Examity customers, as well as other accounting, customer success, sales, and engineering professionals at Examity to help ensure customers receive accurate monthly bills and that the company gets paid in a timely manner. The AR and Billing Specialist will mainly support monthly billing and collections, but will also work on pricing updates, invoice adjustments, system improvements, and ad hoc projects. You should be comfortable both working independently and within a team.

What you’ll do

• Issue monthly customer invoices and ensure billing compliance with customer contracts
• Monitor accounts receivables and lead collection efforts
• Add new clients to billing system and maintain accurate and updated customer records
• Maintain pricing updates in line with increases in customer contracts
• Work with customers and Customer Success Managers to identify billing concerns and issue customer credits
• Identify, recommend, and implement improved billing/collection processes.
• Communicate with the company’s outside CPA firm and assist with audit requests
• Ad hoc projects to be determined as they arise

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in AR/Billing/Collections
• Proficiency in Excel
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and juggle shifting priorities
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with colleagues
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in Netsuite and Salesforce is a plus
