Tutors or Integrated Learning Specialists (ILSs) work closely with a team of teachers to meet the needs of all students at that grade level. As our Learning Labs evolve into a rotational model this year, ILSs are responsible for working as a team to manage the students in the lab. The students would be rotating through independent work on online learning programs, Tier II interventions for additional academic support, project-based learning or other activities such as library time, advisory or legos. The centers will vary based on school, and our ILSs play a key role in the introduction of key life skills for our students leveled to their needs / progress.
