The Challenge:

The Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise to identify solutions for Tier 2/Tier 3 tickets in support of all Examity applications. This team member will provide a key role in identifying root causes of any issues, as well as pioneer new tools, workflows, and enhancements to improve the user experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Work independently on Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues and support requests.
  • Apply knowledge of relational databases, Microsoft technology stack, and emerging technologies to enhance business operations.
  • Analyze processes, identify process improvements, and build POCs for future process improvements or automation.
  • Support API integration and development across client and internal systems.
  • Identify the scoping and facilitation of execution of low, medium and/or complex level enhancements from clients.
  • Navigate project changes effectively, removing barriers and coordinating with a variety of cross-functional project team members.
  • Diagnose root causes as necessary and proactively better the user journey.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build deeper integration between finance, operations, and client-facing applications.
  • Document knowledge required to resolve support ticket and contribute knowledge base articles.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting Tier 2 / Tier 3 escalations in an on-call or IT Help Desk, Support Engineer capacity
  • Experience in a client / customer facing capacity
  • 5+ years of experience in application support or development.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL development.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting applications using .Net Tech Stack (ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript)
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server Analysis/Integration Services (SSAS) & (SSIS)
  • Knowledge of SQL Data Warehouse technology
  • Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate client/internal troubleshooting discussions
  • Experience supporting on-call support
  • Contributes to rotational on call support off hours and weekends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or information systems.
  • Experience in scripting language such as Python highly preferred
